Dr. Krause supports Tahoe's Exercise as Medicine initiative

Dr. Krause recently spent his birthday biking from Donner lake to Sugarbowl ski resort twelve times in support of Tahoe's Exercise as Medicine initiative.  This was 14,400ft of elevation gain in 78 miles, a personal record for Dr. Krause.  He realizes that most of the benefit of exercise comes in the first 30-60 minutes in a day and advocates for patients to do a minimum of 150 minutes of exercise weekly for the well known health benefits.  He is speaking locally to groups of community leaders to share the well established scientific benefits of exercise on individual and community health.
